    Tips for Wearing Clear Aligners

    Tips for Wearing Clear Aligners

If you are going to be wearing Invisalign clear aligners, congratulations! This is a great step forward in achieving the beautiful smile you have always wanted. Clear aligners are a popular choice for orthodontic treatment because they are discreet and effective. In this blog post, our LevelUp Orthodontics team is going to prepare you with some tips on how to make your treatment go as smoothly as possible.

The first thing you need to do is keep your aligners clean. Each time you remove your aligners, rinse them to wash away dry saliva and plaque that can result in orthodontic decay and bad breath.

Soak your aligners using Retainer Brite, denture cleaner, and/or the official Invisalign cleaning crystals.

It is important to track your schedule for switching aligners, as you will need to do this every two weeks.

You should store your aligners in a safe and secure location when you are not wearing them. This will help to prevent them from getting lost or damaged. When you first start wearing your aligners, give your teeth some time to adjust. You may experience slight discomfort for the first few days, but this is normal.

It is also important to practice good oral hygiene while you are wearing aligners. This means brushing and flossing your teeth twice a day. You should also change to new aligners at night so that your teeth can rest.

Finally, you should wear your aligners for 22 hours each day. This will help to ensure that your treatment is effective. You may want to keep back-up aligners with you in case you lose or damage your current ones.

Following these tips will help you to have a successful orthodontic treatment experience with us at LevelUp. If you have any questions, or know someone who would like to Level Up their smile in Parker – please contact us!
